Shilpgram Crafts Village too should be explored for artifacts and woven shawls and cloth. Explore Chetak Circle, Bapu Bazar, City Market, Hathipole and Lake Palace Road. Rajasthan Government Handicraft emporium is reasonable and quality guaranteed. Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandal also runs a shop where handicraft articles can be bought at a reasonable price. Traditional Rajasthani Puppets or “Kathputlis” made of the wood , painted with Rajput features of big eyes and long nose make pretty souvenirs. Ghanta Ghar Road is a paradise for zari, Bandhej, tie-dye and cotton fabric lovers.
Nightlife :
Udaipur is not a city for pub crawlers or disco goers. Sit back at a rooftop terrace and enjoy the marvelous picturesque view of Pichola Lake with folk musical sweeping through in an open sky. Some of the hotels and restaurants have bars opened till 11.00pm.
