It is also home to a rich bird life and a vast variety of reptiles as well. Simipal ,the Tiger Park, the natural habitat for the Bengal Tigers, Leopards, Panthers, Elephants and birds, is a perfect Tropical rainforest.

In Puri it is customary to tip 10% of the bill at restaurants. Also Black and yellow cab drivers are not to be tipped but if one has hired a cab for a long period then tipping is essential.
