Sanjay Gandhi National park
A visit can be paid off to the Sanjay Gandhi National park. It is 104square kilometer protected area of forested hills. It boasts interesting flora and fauna along with a small population of tigers. |

Bassein Fort
Bassein Fort is also worth a visit. It contains the remains of Portuguese city of Bassein and one can also explore the ruins of the Cathedral of St.Joseph.
Kanheri Caves
The Buddhist Kanheri caves are located 42km out of the Northern limits of Mumbai. It takes 50 minutes by catching any of the trains running from Churchgate. Kanheri caves overlook the suburb of Borivili. After reaching Borivili East one can easily finish the last 15km journey by catching a bus, which costs Rs10, or an auto rickshaw, costing Rs 60 or a taxi, costing Rs90. The sculptures are the main tourist attraction along with the caves. These caves were used by the monks for meditation and they go way back to the ninth century AD.
Goa
A paradise marked by stretches of beaches which are worth a visit not only because its fun time during the winter months but also to admire natures beauty. Churches and exotic beaches are the main tourist attraction of this happy and a bright place.
