About 4 hour drive away, this Le Corbusier city is the capital of two states of Punjab and Haryana. This beautifully planned modern city is very unlike the rest

Chamunda Devi
This religious place is located enroute to Amritsar from Dharamshala, near Palampur in Kangra district of the state. Dedicated to Goddess Kali, the place has an old temple that is thronged with pilgrims. It is believed that it was here that Goddess Kali killed the two demons Chand and Mund. The temple is built alongside a flowing river, and is of interest only to pilgrims.
Manali
