tiny antique shops and emporiums at Sadar Bazaar, Sonaron Ka Bass Manak Chowk, Pansari Bazaar, Gandhi Darshan, Seema Gram, Rajsthani Govt. shop. Khadi clothing, fabrics, tie-dye and organic food are made at the Khadi Gramudyog Bhavan. Colorful embroidered camel back covers can only be seen in Jaisalmer and nowhere in any part of the world.
Puppets, silver trinkets and mirror-work cloth make great souvenirs. Puppets dressed in traditional colorful clothing with silver-gold lining can add a little sparkle to your space. Sunset Point and Bhatia Bazaar are best markets to find puppets. They can also be picked up from the market outside the fort.
Camel leather items with colored embroidered threads like jootis( Indian traditional footwear), belts, wallets, low-back seating chairs etc. can be picked up at Bhatia Bazaar( an interesting place to browse around).
Some of the most fabulous intricate embroidery designs on clothes, woven jackets, tabletops, traditional door entrance hangers etc. can be purchased from Barmer Embroidery House, located near Patwon-ki-Haveli.
The best bargains are the ones that are most authentic and exhibit fine quality.

Jaisalmer has natural beauty components of clear starry sky, fresh air swaying ballads of heroism and love with every whiff of wind and land of stormy desert as a moment to be experienced at night on the sand dunes of Thar Desert.
Jaisalmer has nothing to offer in terms of night clubs and pubs. One can enjoy late night rooftop dinner with a splendid picturesque view of the Haveli’s and illuminated Fort.
Camp for a night at the sand dunes with Rajasthani artists performing dance and music with puppetry shows around bonfire arranged by the safari camp holders. This is the best way to be a part of a colorful culture of Jaisalmer known for being an extremely safe, friendly and overwhelmingly welcoming for travelers.
