Getting Around the city
To get around Chennai, a Taxi or Cab is by far the most convenient option. However a cheaper alternative is the Auto Rickshaws. Just like New Delhi, the Auto Rickshaw guys in Chennai also refuse to travel by meters and would more often than not insist on setting an inflated price for your commute .The city of Chennai is spread out which eliminates the use of cycle Rickshaws and bicycles.
