www.IdiscoverIndia.com, the only Indian third-party independent travel portal for India, introduced by Go Blend Travels Pvt. Ltd, is based out of New Delhi, India.
Our “Independent status” allow us to judiciously review the hotels, cities or any service providers, without being under the influence of any entity or without having any vested interest to promote any one particular business or service.
Our business operation is transparent to an extent that all our margins are public knowledge. We charge fixed commissions and anything above our fixed commission we pass that on to our customers.
To make full use of our site, you are advised to read this section regularly. As and when we add more applications, we will add details on how best to use our tools to your maximum benefit.
India Travel Guides:
Our India Travel Guides provide you with all the city specific information that a tourist would need to plan their trip. We provide information on the place’s history, Places to see, Shopping, Nightlife, Side trips, How to get there and even our Tips and Comments for the city.
- If you know the city you want to visit, go ahead and select the city from the blue colored pull down menu in the top centre of all pages on www.IdiscoverIndia.com. In case you want to find out about places by a particular region or interest then just select that particular field from the Blue Dropdown and that will take you to a page where you can click on each of the available options to read more about it.
Selecting “Guide” from radio button options will take you to the respective Travel Guide, “Photos” to the picture gallery of the selected option and “Hotels” to our Hotel Booking engine.
- If you do not know which city you want to visit, click on “India Travel Destinations” here or on the left nav bar on any page of the site () and that will take you to a page ( organized by region via a top link) which lists all the possible cities. Clicking on each city from this page will take you to the city specific travel guide.
Hotel Booking with IdiscoverIndia.com :
Our site provides you with an opportunity to Book your Hotels in India. Here on our site you can Book India Hotels .
- We carefully choose and select only those Hotels in the region that are found to be the best choice in its price category. So in a way we have already chosen a subset of good hotels from the universal lot of hotels in the city. Amongst the Hotels selected, we provide you with independent review of each of the properties. Click on “ ++ More” after each Hotel description in the page that displays the list of Hotels as a result of your hotel search.
On getting to the Hotel detail page you can read our independent review of the Hotel under “ IdiscoverIndia Review”. Also available is the “Amenities” section that lists the facilities available with the Hotel.
- All Hotels in our system are booked on request basis. Once you book a hotel, an email goes out to the Hotel for confirmation of your Hotel Booking Request. It is only on confirmation of the Booking request that your credit card is charged for a Deposit amount that is equivalent to the First Day Tariff plus 10% of Tariff for the other days. At this point an email is sent to you along with the receipt confirming your booking. You are required to pay the Balance amount at the Hotel on your arrival. You will also need to provide a Photo ID proof as a recipient of that Booking.

If for any reason the booking is not confirmed by the Hotel, your credit card will not be charged by the payment processing gateway used by IdiscoverIndia.com . (CC Avenue). |

Even though the Hotels are booked on a request basis, our application has an inbuilt intelligence system that uses a way to provide you confirmed bookings in most of the cases. If a user is booking too close to the booking date or relatively close in a busy season the site will show user that this is a Booking request. On the other hand if you provide enough timeline for your booking, your booking will be confirmed in most of the cases . |

In all cases you will receive an email from us either confirming or declining your booking request within 24 hrs. |
- In more cases than not All HOTEL PICTURES are TRUE PICTURES and taken by our own travel representative. The hotels that showcase our original pictures carry our “ IdiscoverIndia” logo. This ensures that you get an equal opportunity to compare pictures of all kinds of hotels ( budget, mid-segment or luxury) without having some hotels exercise the luxury of photo-touching their pictures or utilizing some photography skills to highlight their hotel.

All hotels reviewed by us carry 4 distinct pictures: The Hotel Front, The Bedroom, The Bathroom and one other distinct feature /highlight of the Hotel. |
- All prices on our site are in INDIAN RUPEES. However, US Dollar price is provided only for your reference . The dollar price provided as a reference is only a close approximate Dollar price and is listed ONLY for your convenience. The Amount Charged to you will be the “Your currency” equivalent for the INDIAN RUPEE, as calculated by our payment gateway’s bank, on the date of Booking . At the time of cancellation again the amount reimbursed will be in Rupees and if a user made payments in USD then the corresponding value of Indian Rupee will be reimbursed in a customer’s currency of payment.
