An entrepreneur and homemaker, Neeru’s passion for travel is translated via her work with IdiscoverIndia.com. Growing up in Virginia, Neeru married her professor husband and lived with him in 3 different states before calling Michigan home. While her circumstances forced her to stay at home to take care of her younger son, this could not dwarf her spirit for entrepreneurship. Neeru was instrumental in moving IdiscoverIndia to the USA to provide a quality platform for other Americans to travel and experience the country of her birth. Even though she moved to the USA very early in her life, she lives her dream of India through the eyes of IdiscoverIndia.com’s guests.
Neeru lives in Franklin, MI, USA with her husband Dr. Mohinder Parkash and two sons, Anish and Anuj.
Aditi Kumar – Director, Guest Relations
Aditi’s passion for travel, and her discomfort with what India travel options were available online, prompted her to start with a company that could build travel as per people’s needs. Aditi oversees the India operations of IdiscoverIndia.com and is responsible for client satisfaction and promoting sustainable tourism practices both within the company and outside it.
Aditi had a flourishing career of over 12 years as a Creative Director in some of the leading advertising agencies in India. She has traveled extensively across the country, and brings creativity and experience to the fore of all our endeavors, thereby ensuring optimal experiences for our guests—both online and while travelling.
Aditi lives in New Delhi, India with her husband and their 3-year-old daughter.
Brijesh Rai – Director, Travel Operations
Brijesh is the “rock star of the company,” ensuring the ground services are always performing to optimally satisfy the needs of our guests. Managing everything from our team of trip coordinators to guest schedules and customer satisfaction, he and his team work diligently behind the scenes (and in front at times) to make it all happen for our guests. Armed with a Master’s in Computer Applications, his interest in travel and a chance meeting with our co-founders led him to leave a career with India’s largest telecom company, Airtel, and venture out into the world of travel.
Besides travel, his other passions are Bollywood movies and watching wildlife documentaries on the Discovery Channel.
Brijesh resides in Delhi with his wife Vijeyta and two-year-old son Anush.
Kamlesh Walia – Director, Finance and Administration
After having worked with the Indian government for over 30 years in social organizations handling development projects for children and women, Kamlesh decided to follow her dream and travel the country. She is an ardent practitioner of meditation and an avid follower of all things related with astrology and spirituality. Kamlesh is responsible for ensuring our financial wellbeing and for driving systems that keep our operations running smoothly and efficiently.
BS Mathur – Director, Content & Alliances
“Bhaggu,” as he is fondly called, is our resident Rajasthan expert. Hailing from the textile town of Bhilwara from the state of Rajasthan, he exults in his enthusiasm and passion for travel like no one else in our company (don’t judge him by his 60-odd years or grey hair). From his days of being a head-boy at the prestigious Mayo College Ajmer to his college days at St. Stephen’s College Delhi, Bhagu has been an avid sportsman and represented his state basketball team.
Bhagu lives in Bhilwara, Rajasthan with his wife and son. He tours the country extensively to select the best available accommodations and experiences for our guests. Additionally, he coordinates with our editorial team to provide the most up-to-date information available about on-ground happenings in important tourist destinations.
